At River Oaks Treatment Facility, we offer a full continuum of care for our clients to move between the levels while in one, continuous treatment stay. Our evidence-based programs are designed to improve outcomes for patients and aid in long-term sobriety.
We offer a number of proven therapies at our facility in both individual and group settings, as well as a range of traditional and holistic approaches to treating substance use disorders.
Our therapies are focused on developing a treatment plan, creating recovery goals, and treating co-occurring disorders. We offer a wide range of therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing and family therapy and tailor your treatment plan to fit your clinical needs and goals.
In addition, we offer specialized tracks and groups for first responders, LGBTQ+ communities and patients with chronic mental illnesses.
We offer semi-private, hotel-like rooms with private bathrooms with 54 beds for male residential and detox housing, and 32 beds for female detox and housing. Private rooms are available for an additional fee. All rooms come with 2 full-sized beds with pillow top mattresses and private bathrooms.
Our facilities also include yoga classes, a baseball field, tennis courts, and full gym among other recreational amenities.
With over 20 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, Dr. Michael Murphy is a renowned expert in the diagnosis and treatment of substance abuse disorders and major mental illnesses. Dr. Murphy has extensive experience in integrated care and medical comorbidity now oversees the clinical team at River Oaks to ensure each patient is treated with compassion and provided with high-quality care to aid in their long-term recovery.
Dr. Abbas Sina has treated those struggling with addiction since 2016 as the associate medical director of River Oaks Treatment Center. Prior to River Oaks, Dr. Sina served nearly 30 years of his career specializing in internal medicine as an ER doctor. Having struggled with his own addiction issues, his experience allows him to better understand his patients and their struggles on a more personal level.
If the patient consents, loved ones may attend family programming held twice a month on both the second and fourth Fridays and Saturdays. Patients can meet with their families for lunch during either afternoon session; a family outing following programming may be available for those who qualify.
