Bangkok Trat Hospital

We are partners with Bangkok Trat Hospital, a JCI and The European Aeromedical Institute accredited hospital. Upon arrival at the Trat Airport, you will be escorted to Bangkok Trat Hospital by an English speaking member of their staff. All clients, before entering rehab at DARA, will be admitted to Bangkok Trat Hospital for 24 hours for a full medical assessment and observation which is included in the price of your DARA treatment package.

The following medical tests will be done (and are also included in your DARA treatment package):

• Physical Examination
• Chest X-ray
• Complete Blood Count (CBC)
• Blood Type Test (ABO)
• Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS)
• Liver Function Test
  -Total Protein , Albumin, Globuli[n
  -Total Bilirubin , Direct Bilirubin
  -SGOT & SGPT (liver transaminases), Alkaline Phosphatase
• Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) , Creatinine
• Lipid Profile
  -Cholesteral, Triglycerile
  -HDL & LDL
• Uric Acid
• Anti HAV IgG (Hepatitis A)
• HBsAg (Hepatitis B antigen)
• Anti HBc (Hepatitis B antibody)
• Anti HCV (Hepatitis C antibody)
• UA (Urine Analysis)
• Ultrasound Whole Abdomen

If it is determined you need more than 24 hours for in-patient detoxing, you will, however, be responsible for the additional fees directly to the hospital.

Additionally, Bangkok Trat Hospital has a clinic on Koh Chang, approximately a 25 minute drive from the DARA Center, available for clients if a clinic visit need arises during their stay at the rehab center.
