Alcohol Rehab for the Middle East

Alcohol Addiction

If you’re suffering from your use of alcohol and you can’t cut down or stop drinking altogether, you have an alcohol addiction. A person with an alcohol addiction may or may not be physically dependent on alcohol. People who haven’t developed physical dependency to alcohol can still be addicted: that is, they can’t control, cut down or stop using, even when drinking alcohol is negatively impacting their life. (Having a physical dependency to alcohol means physical withdrawal symptoms—which can range from mild to severe—will occur once the drinking is abruptly stopped after heavy and prolonged use.)

Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation for the Middle East

Drug & Alcohol Rehab Asia has helped persons from all over the world lead a clean and sober life though our treatment program. From the Middle East, our clientele to date has included persons from Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iran, and Jordan. Our rehabilitation center is like no other. We offer a luxury rehab, located on a beautiful tropical island on the east side of Thailand, in a very discreet location.

Drug and Alcohol Rehab Options

If drugs or alcohol are impacting you’re life negatively, and you can’t stop drinking or using drugs on your own, a recovery & rehabilitation treatment center and professional help can provide you with the right tools to help you stop. There are two main choices in seeking drug and alcohol services: inpatient treatment and outpatient treatment. With inpatient treatment, you become a resident at the rehabilitation center, living and partaking in therapy on-site. This type of setting gets you away from your triggers (to drink) of people, places, and many things; has help available 24/7; and is, of course, a 100% alcohol free environment. Outpatient treatment consists of visiting an outpatient treatment center for therapy sessions throughout the week for as long as therapy is prescribed (for example, 3x / week for 10 weeks).

Inpatient Rehabilitation Center

Drug & Alcohol Rehab Asia is an inpatient rehabilitation center. Our counselors have many years experience in both alcohol and drug treatment. Our program is a holistic, non-12 step program, which utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as its foundational therapeutic approach. In addition to CBT individual and group counseling, our program incorporates personal physical training, water workout in our beautiful pool, group education sessions, art therapy, stress management, meditation, relapse prevention, island excursions (as well as other social activities), detox (when needed), and aftercare.

Various Middle East – based airlines service flights from the Middle East to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport (e.g., Qatar, Emirates, Royal Jordanian, Kuwait Airways). Length of time will, of course, depend on your country of departure. As an example, Emirates provides a 6-hour nostop flight from Dubai, UAE to Bangkok.

DARA is located on the tropical island of Koh Chang in Trat Province on the eastern part of Thailand, so you’ll need to have a connecting flight from Bangkok to Trat. The flight from Bangkok to Trat is less than an hour with two direct flights daily provided by Bangkok Airways.

Upon arrival at the Trat Airport, you will be escorted to Bangkok Hospital-Trat by an English speaking member of their staff. All clients, before entering rehab at DARA, will be admitted to Bangkok Hospital-Trat for 24 hours for a full medical assessment and observation which is included in the price of your DARA treatment package. If it is you need more than a 24-hour stay at the hospital for in-patient detoxing, you will, however, be responsible for the additional fees directly to the hospital.
