ART would like to wish all of its past, present, and future clients who have come to Drug & Alcohol Rehab Asia, or are thinking of it, a Happy Valentine’s Day. We know how stressful addiction can be on a relationship, and with more then 50% of relationships breaking down in divorce these days, substance abuse in the relationship does not help.
Addiction treatment helps you deal not only with your addiction, but also helps you learn tools that will help you with your relationships. By learning to listen to other people and recognize your own emotions, you will be better equipped to maintain a healthy relationship with your partner.
At ART, we understand that a healthy, supportive relationship is immensely helpful in recovery from alcohol addiction. This is why we offer a couple program, even when only one of the partners is experiencing a substance abuse problem.
In a couples program, the partner will learn how best to support their loved one, without enabling them to continue with there alcoholism. Couples will also learn to appreciate, listen to, and understand each other in a more fulfilling and intimate way.
If you or your partner are experiencing an issue with substance abuse this Valentine’s Day, or any other day for that matter, it might be time to do something about it.
Call the caring professionals at Drug & Alcohol Rehab Asia to learn a better way of dealing with your issues. You can come out of addiction treatment with stronger and more supportive relationships that will benefit you, your partner, children, and everyone else you care about, and who cares about you.
