Treatment Approach

Evidence-Based Treatment

Recovery First offers a full continuum of care from medical detox to inpatient care, outpatient programs and aftercare planning—all utilizing evidence-based treatments proven to improve patient outcomes.

Recovery First is a strong proponent of pharmacogenetics used to inform what medications will be most effective for individuals based on their genetic makeup. We utilize AAC's Addiction Labs of America to get genetic tests within 24-hours to form customized treatment plans.

Treatment Modalities and Specialized Groups

We offer a number of different therapies in both individual and group counseling settings to give you a comprehensive approach to addiction treatment. Some of our therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye-movement desensitization and processing (EMDR), and MAT.

We also provide specialized tracks for veterans, first responders, health care professionals, and gender-specific groups in order to allow patients to benefit from specific types of programs.

Accommodations

Split amongst 9 building, patients occupy a 2-story apartment-like complex offering shared bedrooms. Each two- to three-bedroom apartment comes with its own kitchen, TV, a smoking area, and 2 BBQ pits in the courtyard area.

Other amenities include a recreation room, gym, and newly renovated features such as new paint, flooring, décor, and beds.

For Families

Programs

Held twice a month on Fridays and Saturdays, the family program allows family members to learn about the science of addiction and gain a better understanding of the disease. During this time, therapists will participate in individual family work in the afternoon.

Visiting Your Loved One

If the patient consents, family members are able to visit during the residential and inpatient phases of treatment. During your loved one's treatment, your loved one's treatment team will provide you with all of the information necessary to schedule a visit.
